DCF77 Signal-Analysis-Device |
This device was developed to trace possible interferences of the DCF77-signal which could cause errors in the time data string. The synchronisation of the internal clock by a faulty time data string is virtually impossible because hopf radio controlled clocks check the received time data string by means of a microprocessor. However continuous failures - i.e. no synchronisation - blocks the basic function of the radio controlled clock.
The device receives the DCF77-signal with the builtin antenna and displays the amplitude drop in a diagram. An external antenna can be connected directly to the device to assess the DCF77-signal decoding the clock which is to be checked.
