Ranges of application The model 6039 can be used as time standard in PCs with PCI-bus interfaces worldwide.
The unit is synchronized by the worldwide satellite navigation system GPS which guarantees high precision running the clock anywhere in the world.
The board 6039 is plugged directly into a PCI space of a PC.
It serves for the synchronization of different data acquisition or recording systems. Main ranges of application are BDE-time registration or personal data systems and the synchronization of data networks. Due to its stable operating frequency, the possibility of generating time synchronous interrupts and the directs access to the 1/1000 sec. its use is also interesting in the wide field of calibrate- measuring technology and process measuring technique.
There are driver software for Windows 95/98, NT, 2000, ME, NTP (Network Time Protocol in TCP/IP Nets) and all other networks supporting NetBios available.
