"Stand-alone-System" Ranges of application

The model 6855 is an euroboard with display and key-pad. The clock is used in computer systems or controls of synchronisation processes. 

Further main fields: acquisition of personnel time data, access control, error recording and computer synchronisation. 

The system is synchronized by the time signal transmitter DCF77 in Mainflingen near Frankfurt am Main / Germany. 

System versions

The model 6855 is available with 2 serial interfaces with the physical outputs RS232 RS422. At the 96-pole VG strip the signals of the serial interfaces and cyclic pulses can be taken as TTL signals. The supply voltage (+5 V DC) can be supplied at the 96-pole VG-strip. Furthermore, the system con be used as a DCF77 simulator. It is possible to simulate both DCF77 telegrams for changeover of summer-/wintertime ant the input of switching seconds. 

If it is not possible to install the device into an existing system, the modules of the system 6000 can also be structured as "stand-alone-systems".

As a "stand-alone-system" the unit is mainly used to synchronize Sysplex Timer, NTP Time Server and for DCF77 simulation.

The additional boards FG6841H2-H3 enable an optical transmission via plastic cable or optical fiber.
