Mains Voltage Analysis Board

All the important measuring values of a 50/60 Hz grid network are determined by the mains analysis board and related to the radio controlled time of the system 7001. The following values are calculated:

• grid frequency mHz
• difference frequency mHz
• time from the grid frequency in seconds
• difference time (system time to grid time) in milliseconds.

Via the 2 serial interfaces on the panel of the board all measured data are transmitted to the superior computer to be analysed and displayed. The data can also be displayed directly by the hopf  large scale display, type 4980/4985. All values are distributed via the internal data bus and are available at the serial interface boards 7201, 7221 and 7245 in data strings.

The difference frequency can be taken as an analogous figure (current or voltage output) directly at the panel of the board (option).
